Moreover, it helps to find new markets, differentiate business, to reduce the legal risks and insurance costs, to create the innovative products and processes, to get ready for changes. However, looking for common ground with employees and neighbours has often proven to lead to better solutions for all parties. In contrast, relationships characterised by constant struggle and conflict are frustrating and costrly.
By managing SR in a more strategic and conscious manner, businesses can better reap these advantages.
SR is about continuous improvement and should be seen as part of the modern model of business excellence.
Many managers of SME are lead by strong values an try to be as good employers and business neighbours as they can. This has to be appreciated and encouraged even more.
