Leonardo da Vinci Transfer of Innovation project Project title: Sustainability and social responsibility through learning in SME Project No. LLP-LdV-TOI-2008-LT-0021 Leonardo da Vinci subsidy 249. 869 EUR
The main aim of the project is to transfer and further develop an innovative methodology for the development of a CSR strategy within SMEs in Europe. This will be achieved with the use of a balanced scorecard, which will monitor the methodology used and help to develop systematic learning activities within SMEs. Specific aims: identify SME leaning needs on the CSR topic in each participating country and adjust the project product to different cultures; prepare a detailed methodology for the development of learning within SMEs, based on CSR practices. The methodology will be developed in English and adapted in other partners’ languages (Lithuanian, Bulgarian, Polish, Spanish, Romanian, Greek, Latvian, Portuguese); test the adapted CSR learning package in SMEs from Poland, Bulgaria, Spain, Lithuania, Romania, Latvia, Cyprus and Portugal SMEs; produce a package for the development of learning within the CSR concept specifically for SMEs. This package will be addressed to SME’s consultants; disseminate and valorise the project’s products and methodologies in each country during the project and after.
Target group and beneficiaries The direct target groups of the project are consultants and trainers from training and consulting institutions, SME owners and managers, management staff from SME, social partners within SME. The long-term beneficiaries of this project are consultants and educators/trainers for SMEs. These people will receive higher qualifications for the facilitation of learning and they will become experts in sustainable business strategy adoption with the use of CSR concepts, specifically in SMEs. Besides consultants, SMEs will also benefit directly from this project: they will receive high quality services by consultants/professionals on the area of learning, targeted towards their specific needs and problems.
